Aislan

Well, we finished our 'experimenting with what first level characters can do' D&D campaign. It ended a session early because our druid is wise, and riding her fast riding dog managed to evade a web and grapple the BigEvilMage. He didn't have any spells that only used verbal components. He got pounded.

It was a good campaign, good story. Trifida the ghostwise halfling druid and her riding dog companion Ambrosius were probably more effective battle wise than my speech impaired dwarven fighter. I guess that's first and second level characters for you, Ambrosius was great. :-) He kept me from falling off a swinging rope bridge, was good at biting bad guys, and even fetched a guards sword when he dropped it to pull out his crossbow, and he was fast. Good doggie.
