Robotic Giraffes

This evening Rebecca drew me a scribble on her little magnetic drawing board thingy and handed it to me, saying, "Here you go, I drew a robotic giraffe for Mama." Presumably the one from Maker Faire this weekend. My daughter draws me illegible scribbles of robotic giraffes. Also she steels all the raw salmon off my sushi lunch plate. I'm so lucky.

I'm trying to figure out how I am going to keep the grossed out looks off of my face when Noah tries to teach our kids to eat sushi. I would love it if our children had much broader palates than I have, but fish so squick me...

I can't say that Rebecca has a broad palate... I think the reason she likes sushi is because we get it every week and tell her that she can't have it... I've read they aren't supposed to have it until they are two and actually chewing their food, but around 1.75 yrs of begging I decided that was a stupid rule. So you can probably get your kids to have really broad palates by telling them they aren't allowed to eat anything interesting that Noah is eating. :-D But yah, the looking like stuff is gross is a biological turn off for your kids, isn't it?
