Discovery Museum

Today was a little bit chilly, or rather, not hot, so Rebecca didn't last as long as usual at Rinconada pool. Which was fine, she gets me soaking wet pretty quickly because I have to catch her at the bottom of the slide and help her swim to the edge about twenty times in a row. So I was chilly too. Drat those high coverage SPF swim suits. :-)

So we finally made it to the Childrens Discovery Museum to see the Curious George traveling exhibit. Rebecca was excited to see the giant blowup Curious George on the roof, replacing the White Rabbit and bathtub ducky, but in general the traveling themed exibits aren't as much fun as the ambulance and the painting wall. And the sand table, which is where we are now. But now I can cross that off my list of things to do before giving birth. Not that it couldn't be done after, but it isn't going to be getting any easier. It'll be nice to be able to bend over again and still breath, but I'm not looking forward to the sleep deprivation and the divided attention with two kids. I like being able to concentrate on one thing at a time. I'm sure it will be a good 'growing experience'. :-/

How come someone always says that about the awful photos I message from my Treo? It's a conspiracy.

Amusingly I was at Rinconada Park today. My mommy group went to the museum and zoo then played in the tot lot for a while. I bet we were there at the same time.

Heh, probably. I would say we'll be at the pool every Thursday, but I'm not sure how many weeks that's going to be true for. Somewhere between 0-2 is likely.
