Brain is Forming

Baby grabbed the stuffed pink cat rattle when I held it next to her, shook it some, then stuck its paw in her mouth. This brings me joy, and that makes me laugh at myself.

At 2.5 months Rebecca is working on arm coordination now, and it is very funny to watch her. She's just starting to reach for things and looks very much like an uncoordinated robot running undergraduate software. Sometimes she smacks herself in the head, sometimes she sticks her finger in her mouth and tries to spit it out at the same time. Progress is being made though. Day by day we are achieving sentience. I think D-Day is somewhere around 3yrs. Guess it's going to be a while. :-)

I hear they can learn to park a car on a hill long before they have the coordination to speak intelligibly.

Your icon pic is beautiful.

Yah, that's why folks are so into baby sign language, because they can sign their first word several months before they can speak it.

And thanks, although I think now I probably pushed the colors too far, I wasn't meaning to go for op art.
