I was reading my craft blogs, and found my way to this list of kids crafts (and swap). We immediately had to try making recycled cupcake crayons. Excellent! Although only try it with good crayons, I put in one cheap crayon, and that cupcake ended up with a layer of clear paraffin on the top. I had to carve it off with a knife, because Rebecca was getting really frustrated with it. She didn't want to draw with the bottom for some reason, only the top. She had fun pealing the crayons, and watching them melt in the oven, and then got a bit miffed that I made her wait an hour, and then until after her nap, to play with them since they had to cool.
